Sebastian Rudolph

Dr. Sebastian Rudolph is a postdoctoral researcher at AIFB. He received his PhD in mathematics at the Technical University Dresden. His research interests comprise theoretical aspects of knowledge acquisition, representation and reasoning, complexity theory, lattice theory as well as linguistic and psychological dimensions of knowledge processing including e-learning. He is involved in the ReaSem project funded by the German Research Council (DFG), in the EU IST project NeOn, and in the EU Network of Excellence KnowledgeWeb.

Johanna Völker

Johanna Völker is a PhD student at the AIFB. She received a diploma in computer science with a special focus on computational linguistics from the University of Saarbrücken. Her research interests include information extraction, text mining, ontology learning and the Semantic Web. Johanna was involved in the EU integrated project SEKT (Semantically Enabled Knowledge Technologies) which successfully ended in December 2006 and is currently working for the EU project NeOn (Lifecycle Support for Networked Ontologies) as well as the DFG project Multipla (Multi-Ontology Learning).
